This game features 4A D2's top two scoring offenses (WOS #1, Robinson #2) AND 4A D2's top defense (allowed just 30 points on the season). Robinson is just 18 points behind WOS in points scored, but they have allowed almost 15X more points (412 points more).

Decatur and Midlothian Heritage also putting up lots of points for the season. Robinson and Decatur would be a very high-scoring and very entertaining game to watch. I would call that one a "toss-up".......pun intended, LOL.

Going to be an interesting game.W0-S it seems has had to defend against the wing t and variations of it most of the season.Has not had to defend the pass that much so this will be a test for our secondary that's for sure.Should be exciting with that gunslinger ya'll have.

Robinson clearly has the best passing offense in 4A-DII. Their QB, Chase Allison, is the real deal and he has 3 very quality receivers with height and speed. They have a big O-line but the big question is how much time they can give their QB to throw. If he has time, Robinson will put up some points. The good news for WOS is they'll get to keep their starters in a little longer than usual.

Our stats could be a bit misleading, as few of our starters saw the field in the 4th quarter this year. When your average margin of victory is 50+, the better part of the second half is running up the middle and milking the clock - if not a running clock like last week. This is a team that found itself up 62-0 at the half a few weeks back.

I don't doubt that they will find the end zone, especially early. But I don't see the region's worst defense stopping the division's highest-scoring team enough to win.

Our defensive front will hopefully be very familiar with the QB by the game's end.

WOS will win this game, and probably comfortably.


But this will be the best offense they have faced all season long, and by quite a large margin. Not only will it be the best offense they've faced, but really the only credible offense they've faced, and that has an ability to sling it around and light up the scoreboard on any given night. The Rockets will score some points, but not nearly enough, because WOS will likely score on every possession (at least in the first half).


Mustangs continue down the warpath and get their secondary a bit of a workout this week.
