First ever meeting between these two. WOS is riding a 21 game winning streak (3 away from tying their all--time longest from '86-'88), 4 TDs allowed in the last 11 games dating back to Cuero last December and starting to feel the target on them. It's only uphill from here on out. This will be the 8th(?) Slot-T our defense will face this season so let's see how it goes. I know we will have some scouts in College Station Friday to watch Robinson and Caldwell. We know Caldwell very well... never met Robinson but know they have an awesome offense.

Don't sleep on Tarkington. This one will be uncomfortably close at kickoff. But WOS's depth and skill will allow them to pull away late on their opening drive.

I'm still in louisiana in Vinton, depending how long I'll be at delta might stop and see a qtr or 2 of this game in Beaumont on way back home this evening. Is stadium right of I-10?

The Butch is just West of Beaumont proper on the Southside of I-10 right before the Ford Park complex. Exit 845ish

Brutal. But, in all fairness, I could probably reassemble my collegiate intramural flag football team and run roughshod over Tarkington.

The bad thing is if you have a key player or two go down in a game like this...could possibly shorten your season as well.Get a comfortable lead and sit your first string.
