Yeah, I'm not sure how you could.

Because, it's really their fault...right?

No sir. It's 100% the animals fault that's what they are animals. But these girls were not attacked walking down the street at night. They were around these guys at partys and hooking up. Again, teach your girls to stay far away from these types of hoodlums!

Don't forget restaurants....and bars...and classrooms....

Any other risky locations you can think of that they should avoid?

Yes I'm sure they're getting raped at chilis and their 8 am classes. I won't post on this again. Again the football players are to blame but females must be smart and do not put yourself in bad situations.

Yeah, it's pretty clear where you think the blame lies. I wouldn't continue to embarrass myself if I were you either.

At this point, this is nothing but the liberal media attacking a Christian university. There is absolutely nothing in that article that has not been reported already months or years ago. Every university in the country deals with these same issues. The media chooses to focus on the Southern Baptist one.

Wow Bosqueville I guess they decided you are stalking the campus too! Good luck trying to use common sense.

Lol you really really took that out of context. You guys are trying way too hard to put words in the guys mouth. That's all I'll say about that

Was Shock Linwood accused of rape at halftime? The broadcasters at that game yesterday kept trying to figure out why he wasn't playing in the second half.

Leave the guy alone. He stated his piece and left it that.

Coworker's daughter goes to BU. He flat out told here to stay away from football players when she first started in 2014 before any of this came to a head.

PS. His wife works for Baylor. Take it for what it's worth.

You're a coach. Get off of your intellectual high horse.

It's very clear what he was implying.

Good luck against Needville this week.

How many rapes happen in the classroom or at a restaurant? Bosqueville is correct, a little common sense goes a long way.

Liberal media with a two-fer. They get to attack a Christian university in the south. Nothing in that hatchet job was new. And, nothing in that story implicated Briles, BTW.)

Here's a factoid. From 2011 to 2016 there were 17 sexual assaults or physical assaults of women at Baylor according to the story. At Ivy League Brown University in the heart of liberal-dom (east coast), there were 43 sexual assaults ..... in 2014 alone.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2016/06/07/these-colleges-have-the-most-reports-of-rape/

Baylor isn't even on the list. CBS could have saved a lot of money on travel and done a story on Brown.

It is sports related. Move it to the College Sports Forum since it is about a university.

Sorry to get so political above. I didn't go to Baylor. I'm not particularly a Baylor fan and not even Baptist (I'm Catholic). I just thought Baylor had been hammered enough by the media.

I moved this thread to College Forum... is it also showing up on the "main forum"? I've tried to fix but Tapatalk isn't liking my iPhone nor iPad. I will try to fix at work tomorrow.

Are you saying that between 11-14 there were only 17 total assaults reported for the entire university? Because I believe that number is only for ones which involved football players.

Also it's not a story with Brown because no one even knows if they have football team.

I couldn't disagree more! If anything, BAylor hasn't been hammered enough. This is a disgusting story and some folks that should be fired are still employed and making hefty salaries at that school.

Norm let them have it pretty good.

I'm pretty taken back by anyone that would even begin to think Baylor is the one that is getting an unfair shake here. I think you either need to seriously brush up on the story and really learn what went on or you need to do some soul searching. What happened to those girls is unconscionable.

Oh, and as the poster above mentioned, you have your numbers wrong. Here's an up to date story.
http://www.dallasnews.com/news/news/2016/10/28/horrifying-details-emerge-baylor-rape-scandal

It's 17 girls involving 19 players just since 2011!!! That is a staggering number.

And we can discuss the total assault numbers that Baylor has reported and given this scandal, how accurate do you think those numbers have been? What a joke.

I agree. This needs to stop where ever it is happening. Florida State, Baylor, the list goes on. And large heads need to roll and pay victims out of their own pockets.
