Going to be a tough game. Stafford has been pretty dominant most of the year. So has El Campo for the most part.

The loser of this game will actually have a more favorable playoff draw.

Stafford has a good defense and a couple elite athletes.

El campo has the coaching and the fundamentals and the line play to match stafford.

Stafford is good, but they've just been out athleting everyone to this point. I think this game will be close, but EC will be the first team that can match up. Rice birds by 7

Last season neither of these teams had over 250 yds of total offense in an overtime game won by Stafford 14-8. I'd imagine this will be another down to the wire affair that will go to the last team with the ball. Both teams are better this season and a few more total points are likely. I'll go with the Ricebirds at home 28-26. It's possible these guys could see each other in the regional finals. Wouldn't that be fun !!

Boy both of these teams are the real deal. Great job by Ricebirds in the 2nd half, both are threats.

Dominant performance by El Campo in the 2nd half. My guess is they held them to about 50 yards of offense for the half.

Stafford has a good team and will be a tough out in the playoffs.

I believe that El Campo's looking at 2nd and 3rd round games against Henderson and Carthage if they continue to win. Going to be tough, but this is likely the best team El Campo has had since 2012.
