Cuero win can set up a most likely showdown between them and Wharton in the last district game for district title. Sinton and Sweeny both will try and keep their hopes of a district title alive with must wins this coming Friday. Wharton is at Sweeny.

Sinton defense has played the run well all season it has been against the pass they've given up big plays.

Cuero defense has been solid all season.

Cuero clear favorite but we'll see how both teams play this game out on Friday night, Sinton well battle and keep gaining experience each week and Cuero working on getting both sides clicking at a solid pace each week.

I will go with Homerism with Sinton pulling off a upset, going have to be Sinton defense to keep playing well but from the start. Have struggle in 1st qtr in majority of the games. Has to be low scoring, Cuero defense won't give up much if any.

Victoria will work too.Sinton's won a few games at Victoria in the play-offs including a win over Cuero. I always thought it was a great place to have play-off games. Never understood the reasoning playing in SA when there's a stadium a lot closer.

The 6'7" QB you saw was not the starting QB. The starting QB was out 3 weeks with a injury. He just came back into the line up for the Aransas Pass game. If the Pirates do as the Bulldogs did, they can make some of the Gobblers get a little frustrated and start to commit penalties and mental mistakes. Hopefully the coach has gotten that part of Cueros game straightened out IMO

2014 Sinton, Yoakum and Cuero shared District title. Last season Sinton was unbeaten in district. 2013 both were in different districts and Sinton beat Cuero in the playoffs. Sinton 3-1 against Cuero since 2013.

Yes and we beat Sinton in Sinton and I hope that we have it on video we have about three vary late hits on my son the quarterback not called. Pretty obvious he was targeted all night one of the Sinton players told him it was his job to try to take him out of the game.

Seen most of the video before it crashed on me towards the end due to multitasking on computer low on ram. Time for new computer or more ram but didn't see any late hits on qb. there was some late hits twice by Cuero on sidelines called and one on Sinton called.

Sinton young team so picking up experience in district play might just get it together come playoff time.

From what I saw couldn't see late hits, but he had some good throws under pressure a few times that kept the drive going. He had a good game last night.
