MH fans, coaches, and players are pumped to the max for this game, and for good reason..the Jags are 5-1, with wins over teams like Sanger, and Decatur in their very first year playing varsity football, their only loss was to 3A contender Sunnyvale. So..are the Indians heading into a buzzsaw? or,are the Jags headed into a brick wall? I have seen the Jags play in person and on video..my impression for this weeks game is, the Jags will be fired up and will be looking for the big play to jump on the Indians early..realistically, that is their only chance, the alternative is to get into a grind game, which seriously deminishes their chance of winning this game. this years Indians are the epitome of TCB football, and i do not see that faltering this friday. The I formation is a thing of beauty when all the pieces are in place, and when well supported by a strong, quick defense..come on out to MISD stadium and see for yourself.

Indians will be in for a fight against this up-and-comer team......but fight is what the Indians do best. Not sure what kind of pass D and secondary Alvarado has or will need against this team.......could get very dicey in the 4th quarter. My vote goes to the Indians, regardless.

Watching tonites JV game, I noticed MH using several different alignments and stunts to stop our running attack, the JV runs the bread and butter plays for the most part.. They were experimenting with their defense trying to figure out how to best attack the blocking scheme on the pitch plays specifically.. Very good clues on what they will be doing Friday.

Keeping a high scoring offense like Heritage to only 10 pts. is impressive. Looks like Alvarado is playing this one like they drew it up.

MH won the game the way they had to, big pass plays. No excuses, just have let it go and move forward.
