Projections for 4A-I Districts --For some good discussion (if you have and opinion different from these). With the start of district competition thought I'd give some projections for the placing of final standings for each district. Doesn't mean this is the way they will wind up. I might have missed some (1 or 2 lol). I retain the right to make adjustments to the placing as each week passes and wins and losses change the projection order for where the teams may fall. Curious to see how final standings compare to my original projections. Give your thoughts on all or part of these !!!

Anna will not win District 7. They'll do well to snag the fourth spot.

I watched Sanger get flat out "outplayed" by Midlothian Heritage.. Decatur will beat them.

I agree with this. Midlothian Heritage looks really athletic. I don't think they'll beat Alvarado, but I think they'll surprise some other folks. And Decatur is explosive, offensively. They'll be a tough out for some of the other Region I folks come November.

Most entertaining district in the state, in my opinion. Going to be a fun few weeks coming up. And there will be at least one rematch in the postseason, and it ought to be a dandy. It may not be 2007-China Spring/La Vega rematch-level epic, but it will be a dang good showdown either way.

Navasota?????

Navasota is definitely down, but not making the playoffs would be a shocker. If they did not beat Bryan, that would put them 1-9 or 0-10.

Every game in that district could be entertaining.

I'm curious as to why both Burnet guys are putting LH ahead of Burnet. Ya'll are 5-0 so far right? Is that five wins against easy teams? Ya'll have been awfully quiet over there.

Exactly , we have not played anybody I would call good . CS , Gatesville , La Vega , and Da Hill handled us very easily last year and none of those teams lost that much to graduation . We can score but man we dont have much D going on right now . Burnet vs Lampasas should have a score of 100 plus points , they are in the same boat as us as far as D goes . One thing that is for sure come next Friday night we will all find out exactly what we have .

You know how those Brunettes are; they think they're being clever and are hoping no one pays attention to them and then they can sneak up on one of the Big 3 come district time.

I literally, this year, have no dog in that district fight and will enjoy watching things develop from the outside, but with insider info. :1popcorn:

Cam told me to say "this is all greendawg's fault", but I'm not so sure 'bout that.

Beeville qb at 1900+ passing yds with 25 tds. I think Beeville wins their district.
Rockport Fulton, La Vernia and Somerset should be the other 3 playoff teams.

Pleasanton is on the outside looking in. They and LV are at 2 wins and most likely each will lose this friday and LV will move on with the head to head win.
