Good Lord, this is a heavyweight bout. This will - for all intents and purposes - decide that district. Should be a fun week leading up to this game for both communities. Give me Cameron taking the wheel in that district and handing the Lions their first loss of the season.

I hope you're right. However, Malakoff is the probably the team that could throw a wrench into that. They have been thorough in their wins so far.

This could be Cameron's break-out game.

If we play like we did against McGregor, it will be hard to win. The 44-20 win was nice but it could have been much worse and closer to being over at the half. That may come across as greedy or overly-critical, but I am just stating this because the offense is capable of being extremely good. We saw more of the that in the second half.

It's very simple.....if we execute we will score. IMO, this will be a much bigger test for our defense as no one so far has slowed the Lions down.

It's a good matchup for Cameron. Simply, I want to see a complete, clean and well exectued football game this week. If we get that I will take the Yoemen by 14.

That would be shocking. I think this is a close game regardless. Would surprise me if it gets over 14 points either way.

Franklin had a chance to tie the game at the end, but their qb threw a poor incomplete pass. I saw it on Fox Friday Night Football......he hurried the throw and was not even pressured. I believe Franklin was inside the Yoe 20. Great game from two perennials.

Gotta give credit to Franklin. We had a 2 TD lead in the first half and went up 42-22 in the third quarter, but they kept battling. That is what championship caliber teams do. As the coach said, we did not close all that well, but a win is a win. We had a ton of penalties and some miscues, but we are getting closer to the point we want to be at. Continuing to improve is what will be key throughout the rest of district play.

At least I was partially right. Franklin O-line moved the line of scrimmage 5 to 10 yards a play. Didn't sound like the Yoemen Offensive line handled Franklin's defensive shift call either.

We did a fairly decent job early, but Franklin did get their yards. We simply don't have the same personnel on defense as we had back in 2012/2013. Those defenses would have given up maybe 2 TDs in this game. However, we are little more explosive offensively now. We have won more with offense the past two years.

Regardless, we are in the business of getting to Arlington.
