Paris Wildcats(2-2) visit Argyle Eagles(3-0): Homecoming Game Tonite

Paris ain't no pushover.......they've played a very tough predistrict schedule and are poised for a very good season. The Wildcats won the flip and deferred to the 2nd half. Argyle will be receiving the kickoff to start this game tonite at the Eagles Homecoming. The National Anthem was just completed. There is a breeze blowing out of the South. Paris will be kicking into the wind. Dane Ledford's cast is off and he's throwing on the sideline right now.

Kick to the 5 yd as Dillon Carter returns it to the 25 to start for Argyle.

Don Williams up the middle for 5 yds on 1st. 2nd down pass is incomplete to Estrada. Williams picks up 27 yds to the 45 for a first down on 3rd.

Brown keeps it on th qb draw as he is hit hard at the LOS. 2nd and 15 now for Paris.

Brown drops back, then tucks it and takes off up the middle as he runs over an Eagle at the 2 and scores. The kick is good. Brown has lots of speed, moves, and talent. He's very shifty in the open field.

Carter in motion as Clearman looks and finds Nanny up the middle for a first down. A flag is thrown in the backfield. Clearman had too much time to throw that one.

Fake to Williams and Clearman hits Nanny as he gets back to the line of scrimmage. 3rd down now for Argyle. Screen pass to Harper as he picks up 8 yds but is 2 yds short of the first. Argyle will punt. Carter back to punt as he takes off and runs it down to the 20 yd line.

Argyle has not played in 2 weeks. Now they seem to be getting back into the groove.

Argyle will not play next week either.....it is their bye week. That means injured starting QB and Tulane commit Dane Ledford will have yet another week to heal. Look for him to be back under center when district play begins for Argyle in two weeks. He will need that time to get his right wrist stronger......his throwing hand.
