It's really going to depend on the health of PI's main RB Omar Silva. He played last week despite a high ankle sprain and still ran for 448 yards and 3 TDs on 34 carries. Hopefully Silva's ankle is closer to 100% for this week's game. Our other back, Carlos Orduna, was out due to illness (stomach virus) so hopefully he's back for this week as well.

Dang! 448 yards on a bad ankle. That takes a lot of heart. Hopefully the trainers working to get him close to100%.

The think about St Joe is that Oregon style offense they run. And their d line isn't bad. Saw them against Rio Hondo. St Joe is explosive on offense...

Some stats from St Joe. Their qb Kai Money is 49-82 for 584 yards, 7 tds, 3 tds, and also has 72 carries for 617 yards and 7 tds. Also their running back Mario Garcia has 64 carries for 617 yards and 7 tds... Quite an explosive duo...

St Joe is about Kai Money, dual threat qb and has some help this season. Good test for both teams.

He went to school in Port Isabel but has been at St Joe(private school) from at least his Freshman year knowing PI is not a passing team but he continues to live on SPI, if I am not mistaken.

We are hoping he is too Old Green, so he and the other RB, Carlos Orduna can be the 1, 2 punch needed to keep St. Joseph no huddle offense, off the field. I think Tarpons Seawall Defense will be the difference in this match up, enough to get the upset.

Yes, Kai Money and his family live on South Padre Island, but from what I understand he transferred to St. Joe knowing full well if he played at PI he would hardly get any chances to throw the ball. So the reality is, he grew up a Tarpon.....

This is the 3rd year we've faced SJA with Money at the helm, so we're familiar to what they do and vice-versa, will be battle of wills. One department we are not upto par is our special teams, so we need those guys to step it up.
