Well.....I guess now we can sort of start seeing how some of the teams in all classifications are rounding out. There were some cancellations this past week on a few games, but there were some games that gave us some indications as well. Robinson continues to win big, and Iowa Park put the stoppers on Mineral Wells......just to give you a couple of examples. Let's start the discussions.

BTW>>>>The Rangers are trying to clinch this weekend on this homestand.

The Port Isabel Tarpons are back on the rise again after a couple of lackluster seasons. They beat a previously unbeaten La Feria Lions team (they gave China Spring a good game in Round 2 last year fyi) 35-21. Port Isabel RB Omar Silva's night: 34 carries, 448 yards, 3 TDs.

They have another undefeated team up next. Brownsville St. Joseph. Should be a great one.

Navarro took it to La Grange 42-13
Navarro had 337 total yards to La Grange's 101. Extremely physical and chippy football game, lots of fun to watch.

The El Campo-Wharton game was exciting with the Birds 42-38 win over the Tigers who were driving inside the Birds 25 yardline before getting two sacks. Wharton had at least two TDs called back because of two legit penalties and were inside the 1 yardline as the first half ended with no time outs left. Both teams played lights out before a sold out crowd
