Did this game go in the books as a Canceled game or did it count? Surely it counted since it was in the 4th quarter?

It's dreadful to watch. The kids deserve more. There isn't any kind of enthusiasm or since of urgency on the sidelines. Not even at the beginning of the game when there is always a chance. Sad

I would assume since it's non district the uil won't care....
Decatur will have it listed on their record, Stephenville probably not.

What's happened to the Jackets? Don't have the jimmies and joes right now? Is coaching the problem? I thought 2014 was considered a down year when Ville went 9-4. Then I thought everybody has a bad season last year when they were 4-7. But it looks like a steady decline. I don't like Ville posters for the most part, but I don't like seeing a storied program go down so fast. Looks like we have lost 2 power programs for the time being in Navasota and Stephenville.

Just don't have the athletes or the talent. The soph class is good, and most of them are starting on varsity, they're just not quite there yet.

Yea it happens. Atleast the young men are getting experience. In 2014 when Carthage started off 1-5 we played a ton of sophomores and even some freshman on the varsity. Now these young men are juniors and seniors. It will pay off at some point, but it's painful going thru the process.

I want to apologize for my smartass post above. I was trying to bring some levity to a tough season and in retrospect it was disrespectful to all the hard work everyone puts into this program. I should of focused on the positives of the night where a community came together and raised over $17k for family going thru a tough situation.
