( Scoop says ) Tigers will keep it close for a while early before the Ricebirds open it up in the second half.

Wharton started the season out against Sealy, sound asleep. Being awake now won't help. EC by 18 +

Tigers can beat El Campo once every 15 years so it might be a while since they won in 2014.

The Rivalry COULD keep it close. But team on team, EC should win convincingly.

El campo should win this easily. They have been very impressive so far

El Campo is big and physical with speed in the backfield. Too much muscle for the Tigers. EC by 21.

Hoping for a Wharton upset. But EC type of team Wharton most likely has problems with so EC by at least 2+ scores.

Homer vote on this one. Birds by 10 +.

EC gets the running game going and throws in that up and coming passing game could spell a long night for Wharton.

Rivarly game at its best. Go Birds!!

Tigers just have a different kind of players to choose from than the Ricebirds do-Two Completely different communities-With that said-Birds by three TDS. EC won't be running up the score because of the respect for each other

Great battle with Birds winning 32-28 thanks to a couple of sacks on Tigers last drive around EC 25 yardline- Tigers had at least two TDS called back with legit penalties and first half ended with ball inside EC 1 yardline. Tigers will be team to be reckoned with all their speed the remainder of the season

District 15 really hard to pick right now. Looks like Cuero, Wharton and Sinton could each beat the other two on any given night. Right now I'm going Cuero, Wharton, Sinton in that order but it could come down to point differential or some other tie breaker if they all beat each other.

Congrats to the Ricebirds in getting a tough win against a very good Wharton team. Good luck to both going forward.
