The Indians travel to Brownwood this week to face the Lions. Its no secret what the Indians do...run the ball, but the beauty of the "I" is its versatility with the pass as well. Both have improved every week this season, which is encouraging to see. The Indian D is playing well and getting better every week, alot of energy and physical presence under new coordinator. this should be a great match up.

I do like this match up. I think its all up to the D on each team to take control.. Indians by 1 and that was a coin toss I just did..lol

We have already faced the best defenses we will see until the playoffs, Northwest, and Kennedale..the Indians execution of offense is getting better with each game..but, what I like most is the attitude of this years team, its ALL about TEAM, it hasn't always been like that over the last several years. They will just continue to work to get better and strive to reach each weeks goals..this weeks goal is defeating Brownwood, and that's all they will work toward this week.

the Lion D is pretty darn stout, our O vs their D will be greatness..the Indian D has been playing remarkably good this season as well! this may be a low scoring, gut it out football game for sure!!

This thread sure is quiet. All we heard last year was how bad Brownwood was gonna demolish poor ole Alvarado. The Brownwood faithful are pretty quiet this week. I sure do miss all the ville and wood folks this year. Heck I think the board has become Stell this year. Good luck to both teams and I pray for an injury free game. Go Indians!!!!!!

I'm here....I say the Lions by 9....that comes with a few blocked kicks...throw in a safety or 2 and some 50 yard field goals......oh, and overtime! I'm kidding, but the first few weeks have been full of them. What I can say is that the Lions should be a hot livewire this week, and they better be bc Alvarado will surely give up all that we can handle.

Brownwood needs more consistency on offense to win, but I think we can do it. Won't be an easy task, I'll say that for sure.

Disappointed that the game was canceled, but, it was the right decision.. Would have been a great game..que sera sera..we'll see you next year in Alvarado Lions!! Until then.. Good luck moving fwd this season.

It was disappointing but the lightning continued to disrupt with more on the way. It ruins the flow of the game running players and fans on and off the field.

I wanted to see how Brownwood was going to adjust to Alvarado's offensive line that was destroying us. I was thinking that we were going to have to dedicate a couple of players to occupy that 300 plus pound lineman. lol
I wanted to see if our defensive ends would adjust and start slowing that down.

Try to have better weather for us next year and I hope your busses made it through Stephenville OK. :)
