36 holes have been played and those that made the cut for the weekend are just happy to still be playing. It's an amazing test of golf, with brutal winds at 30mph in the true links style of play of the oldest golf tournament in history......The British Open. But Gee Wally......how come they call it the British Open when it's always played in Scotland??? I don't know Beeve.....it's just one of those crazy things. Phil Michelson shoots an opening round 63 and then a 69 on Friday to lead the tournament at 10 under. Today play should be very difficult as the winds will be blowing hard. Man, I sure do love golf!!!:1popcorn:
For you duffers......golf spelled backwards is flog, hahaha.
