Church Picnics on Sunday and Monday

There will be a church picnic on Sunday on Dubina- 7 miles from Weimar off Hwy 90 between Columbus and Schulenburg. They will have fried chicken and sausage. Three polka bands and of course cold beer. Great fellowship for this bazaar which is going on for over 125 years

Then on the 4th of July is the St. John's picnic which is located 7 miles on FM 957 from Schulenburg off Hwy 90. They will have fried chicken and stew along with three polka band and a fireworks show at night.

Grandpa has been known to have a few too many at the St. John's picnic. Scoop, how was the kolache/klobase festival a few weeks back. Please give us an overview. Wont be long til Moulton Jamboree, Schulenburg Fest and the St. Michael's picnic in Weimar, and then Praha on 8/15. Not sure why all those places serve stew when its 108 degrees but oh well.
