According to the Denton Record Chronicle, Argyle's QB Dane Ledford has committed to play qb, wide reciever, or free safety for Tulane for the 2017 season. Apparently, it took only one season for Ledford behind center to get the attention of many schools.....like Texas State, SMU, Southern Illinois, Air Force and Kansas State. He did make 2nd Team All-State at safety as a sophomore before taking over the QB duties for Argyle last season. Ledford will be a senior this coming season. Ledford said he would be happy to help the team at any one of the positions. He has started at all three positions during his high school career so far.
