I think it helps PG to have to play only one game against Argyle.....I really do. Argyle has 3-4 good pitchers in the rotation, but can probably do very well in a one-gamer against any of the teams left. There's that one game factor that any mistake could be the difference......gone. Good luck to the Eagles tomorrow. PG will be a tough opponent to get by in a one-gamer, for sure.

Just guessing, I'd say Wylie vs Salado and Robinson vs Pleasant Grove.....based on records and regular season ending rankings.

Or is it #1 Seed plays #3 Seed and #2 Seed plays the #4 Seed? I thought it would be 1 vs 4, and 2 vs 3.

I was going off the way the UIL had the playoff brackets. 1 & 3 were together and 2 & 4

Then I reckon that's the way it will be. Wylie and Robinson going at it right off the bat....so to speak, haha. And Salado gets PG for a test of baseball discipline....that should be good too.

The state tournament will have a #1 and #2 seed based on winning percentage. That will be Abilene Wylie & Robinson. Those two teams will not play each other in the semis. The other two will be random (flip, I believe) to decide who plays who.

Word on the street is Wylie vs PG Wednesday at 1. Robinson vs Salado at 4.
