Wylie was down 5-2 going into top 7 and scored 5 with only one hit.

There were 4 walks, two wild pitches, a sac fly and fields choice.

Wylie was shutdown after a 2 run homer to start the game. The soph. pitcher for Godley finally got tired and they pulled him in the top of the 7th.

Nice season for Godley, they will be a force with so many underclassmen next year.

I said all along, Godley was the real deal--very talented young team, bright future indeed. Good thing for us the game is 7 innings, seems the wheels just came off for Godley in the top of the 7th. Go Bulldogs!

Wow....:1popcorn: I bet there was a whole lot of popcorn being consumed, LOL. Good stuff for Godley this season.....but you just hafta to learn how to finish. It ain't over til it's over. And a little excitement for the Wylie fans. Sounds like Godley has a very competitive baseball program.....congrats to them. I guess that stellar record was for real, huh?
