Nothing against Sweetwater......but I'm kinda pullin' for Godley to win that series and see what they can do against Wylie. They've got a good record, but I'ma thinking the competition may not have been quite as stiff as Wylie's. :1popcorn:

Robinson drew a one-gamer against Bridge City Saturday night at 7 pm @ the University of Houston.......interesting. Hear-tell Robinson has the pitchers, but in a one-gamer it will be the best of Bridge City against the best of Robinson.

Of the 5 losses this season.....Argyle took it on the chin to West by one run. Methinks West is darn good....I checked their games and record. Argyle ain't no slouch....and neither is West. They're good year in and year out, and have a quality baseball program.

BTW......Sweetwater leads that series with Godley 1-0. There's always a team that is playing their best this time of year......and might have played some pretty good teams earlier in their schedule. Not sure about Sweetwater's competition, but we'll see if they are short of quality pitchers tomorrow. I think Godley probably has the pitching......but maybe the bats didn't hit against Sweetwater's No. 1.

Argyle has a triumvirate of 3 very good pitchers......and this season they have better hitting than last year. Celina is scary good, but could be in trouble in a 3-gamer if the other team plays tight defense and is experienced.
