District 27-3A:
If Hallettsville beats Yoakum, AND Cuero beats Luling, AND Gonzales beats Goliad (all of which are supposed to happen) then Cuero would go Div 2 and Gonzales would go Div 1.

District 17-3A:
Gatesville, entering the last week of the regular season with 1 district loss, ranked as high as 15 in some polls, must win at Waco Connally (8-1) to make the playoffs. (This assumes wins by China Spring and Waco La Vega) That just doesn't seem fair.

District 23-3A:
If Columbus beats Navasota, then Bellville goes Div 1 instead of Div 2.

It doesn't seem fair in the sense that Falfurrias will make the playoffs at 5-5 with Data Poll/Collier Sharp rankings in the 120s to 140s, playing in a 6-team district. Gatesville, playing in an 8-team district, will be (if they lose to Connally) 7-3 having played much better competition, with computer rankings between 15 and 20.

While the commute would be a killer, I'm confident that, if they played in 31-3A, Gatesville would be unbeaten in District.

I'm not complaining. But if I were from Gatesville I probably would be.
