....homemade?....heck I can barely make toast!.......I do the Luby's thing often cause it's close to work and they have pretty good vegetable plates....You know....Luby's...where all the old folks like me go......I usually pick up but sometimes I'll go sit next to an old timer just to listen to their stories......and let me tell ya, them old dudes have some stories....most of them WWII vets.....These fellas make me feel like I've lead a boring life!! For example:

An 86 year old named Stanley gave me this story: He said he escaped a German camp in France by wearing a German uniform. Walked right out only to be captured by a French resistance group in the woods....the Frenchmen didn't believe he was American at first and punished him.....one of the first things Stanley was forced to do was to "service" Eva while they watched!....the Frenchmen had captured Eva during an ambush of a small German convoy carrying supplies....and no, I ain't talkin' about Eva Hitler's companion and wife.....I'm talkin' about Eva the barnyard cow!!!.......anyways, that explains why Stanley is seen at Luby's often....he's pretty much a vegetarian....won't touch no ribeye much less a chopped steak!......:doh:

....I also met Francisco.....probably the only Chilean-American to serve in WWII and a true Mapuche, the indigenous inhabitants from Temuco, Chile.........this old geezer was about 90 years old and stood only 5'4".......but he had a size 13 foot!....the one thing you don't want happening is to get kicked in the crotch by this guy!......anyways, he served throughout Europe.....he too claims he was captured and sent to a German prison camp near the Black Forest.....Francisco says he escaped and ran barefoot through the Black Forest for 7 days before being found by a band of Ewoks....says he lived with them for two years until settling in Freiburg, Germany after the war.......he started a small restaurant and named it Mapuche-Kraut......specialty of the house was a braadworst tamale.....he sold the business to an old Ewok friend in 1969 when he heard Joan Baez was going to play at Woodstock......no way he was gonna miss that!.......to this day the restaurant is still open......just stay away from the Hans Solo Sauerkraut!.......

The children were on the the way to the bank with their father and looking forward to feeding the birds.....the father says no to them much to the chagrin of the children........In order to keep the "G" rating, Disney deleted the scene where Mary Poppins comes flyin' down on the dad and scolds him for being so uncaring then proceeds to shove that umbrella of hers up his arse giving him a complete colonoscopy!!.....too bad.....that would've made it an even bigger classic!!!!.....but at least the father got a clean bill of health!!!!.........:crazy1:

......well, accordin' to them sumbitch scientists, during the cooking process, each piece of rice expands, creating a network of tiny air-filled pockets and tunnels inside the kernel. Add milk, and the cereal starts to absorb the liquid. ....well....right this minute I'm typin' this....but to answer you in a run-on sentence:...........I've been designin' a special back light fixture which measures about 14" x 14" and utilizes strips of infra red LED's (that's Light Emitting Diodes for some of ya'll dumb asses!) with an 850 nano-meter wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum these LED's will be mounted on four sides of a special acrylic material called acyrlite it is only 1/4" thick but has special optical qualities which allows it to diffuse any incoming light from the sides thus creating a very uniform back light which will be used in combination with a special camera and enclosure to inspect cores of tuna fish meat just like the show "Wicked Tuna" only this is a different company that wants an automated system that will determine the quality of the tuna core sample by looking at the color and transparency of the meat thus determining a very accurate pricing for the fishermen which basically means the poor bastard who visually inspected this tuna before will probably have to find something else to do oh well what can I say that's progress I guess maybe hopefully they'll train him to use this system and he'll still have a job cause somebody is gonna have to stick that smelly tuna core into the system and push a button!............:vrycnfsd::vrycnfsd:

.....:vrycnfsd::vrycnfsd:...first off, looking at someone's tuna with a black light in the back of a Volkswagen van back in 1972 while playing Deep Purple's "Machine Head" 8-track doesn't count!!......Secondly, a "black light" refers to ultra-violet radiation!....You're way off on the other side of the visible spectrum.....we be's doing infra-red!....nothin' special about it cept you can't see it without a camera sensitive to IR....but the fishy meat sure does light up in strange ways...that's about all I can say about that..........................................ay yay yay....:doh::doh:
