View Full Version : Heavy hearts in Burnet tonight

I was at my sophomore's JV baseball game tonight when my older son called. He was coming in to visit from San Antonio and got stuck in traffic between Marble Falls and Burnet due to an accident. Burnet lost one of it's own today. Ex Burnet student Jamal Brown lost his life in this accident. He is #5 in the pic below:
Jamal had just celebrated his birthday a few days ago. He was a really neat loving kid. Such a tragedy.....:crying:

Donations for Jamal and his family have been great!....besides the one through GoFundMe shown here, other groups have gotten together. The Burnet baseball team also started a collection......People are amazing!!
