Poo poo...Spring Hill, Gladewater, Gilmer, Pittsburg, Atlanta & Pleasant Grove

Henderson & Kilgore for scrimmage.

Carthage & Center in preseason.

No more Daingerfield (moved to 3A, Div II !!!!!) or Pine Tree...still have some travel with Argyle LC, Liberty Eyleau & Nacogdoches to round out preseason.

Overrated. I believe Carthage will be the only team to make it past round 3.

Idk. Kilgore should be pretty salty. The rest will have to prove they can play with the Bulldogs. But overall defintley ONE of the toughest districts in the state. Let's look at it again in December. I think right now you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the district with the defending state champs and 2 more legit top 10 teams.

How is Sinton's District the toughest when that region always gets molly whopped in the semis?

Cause, the question is about a district, not a team or two.

How can the toughest district in the state be in the weakest region in the state?

Idk. I was referring to district 13 4A D1 being the toughest district with La Vega (defending state champs), China Spring, and Liberty Hill. Those are 3 pretty salty teams in 1 district. Carthage, Kilgore, Center, and Henderson is salty as well. We will see in 9-10 months.

I was referring to Sinton, Wharton, Sweeny, and Aransas Pass..... That ain't Central Texas. I wasn't talking Waco area at all. Sorry for the confusion.

The question was, who has the toughest district. In region 4 it's D14 DII. No one mentioned match ups in the semi's or state finals.

My definition of the toughest district would be a mixture of which district has the best 5th place team that won't make the playoffs and the two best teams that could possibly meet in the Quarterfinals. The La Vega, Liberty Hill, China Spring, Burnet district is up there.. The Navasota/Silsbee district is a rough one as well as the Carthage, Henderson, Kilgore, Center, Chapel Hill one. In D2 Sinton, Cuero, Wharton hands down. Caldwell, La Grange, Giddings and Gonzales is a doozie as well.

8-4A D1 is tough. Terrell Kaufman Crandall Van Athens Brownsboro Mabank. Terrell went to the 3rd round in 5A, Kaufman did the same in 4A, Athens went to the 2nd. 6 out of 7 of these teams were in the playoffs in 2015 (Crandall, Van and Brownsboro went one and done).
