Plus you guys are in a tough district this year for the 1st time in a couple years. Overall prolly one of the top 5 toughest schedules in 4a D2.

LE game is in Tyler, Center is here, Liberty Christian game is there (Argyle), Carthage is there and Nacogdoches is TBA.

The two scrimmages are against Kilgore here and against Henderson there.

Coach Turner was having a lot of trouble filling weeks 3 and 4 before yesterday. He had some trouble getting the scrimmage dates filled also. I would've preferred to see Kilgore on the regular season schedule instead of LC or Nac, but I guess Kilgore already had all their contingencies filled. There will definitely not be any weak sisters on this year's schedule, unless you include Spring Hill, and they will likely be improved.

Carthage has LE, Gilmer, Gladewater, and Whitehouse on the schedule for pre-district. Plus Kilgore, Henderson, Center, TCH, Bullard, and Palestine. Don't see any gimmes on that schedule except Palestine. We better come out firing. Carthage is gonna play one of the toughest schedules in the state year in and year out no matter what. Gilmer, Gladewater, LE, Kilgore, Henderson, and Center will all be top 25 teams preseason (with maybe the exception of Center). Should be another fun year. We won't be going 10-0 with that schedule, but heck we never do anyway.

I do like it...Melissa & Community were that bitter pill of travel...of course Center is a ways...good to be back at home
