Waco Midway Vacancy

Heard from a pretty reliable source that both Lee Fedora of Navasota and Shawn Bell of China Spring were front runners for the Midway job. I also heard another BIG name, but the source isn't trusted so i will wait and comment on that until I find it true.


If this is true then another GREAT job will open up. Talk about the ultimate domino effect Ronnie Gage has created.

I just can't see it being Bell. Now Fedora, that would make sense.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bell gets it. He was a finalist for Belton last round. Magnolia West has done well under him. Midways Super, Kazanas, is a former China Spring Super. Most of Bell's assistants are fomer China Spring assistants too.

Probably will be Rhoades.

Interesting. This is not the first time I have seen Rhoades on a list like this (Temple last go around) if he is on there. I just don't see him leaving Cameron but I could not blame him. I just feel like it will be Fedora here.

Very good School District with top notch facilities. Baylor uses their indoor facilities from time to time.

Well the school building is actually in the Waco city limits.

Midway just completed their indoor facility last year. Baylor has had an indoor facility at least four years.

We had a 7 on 7 tournament there and the Ad told us on bad weather days Briles would bring in his QBs, WRs, and RBs because it was so nice. He could have lied to us though lol

I have never been on Baylor's campus and only have been to Floyd Casey so when he told me that I just assumed Baylor didn't have an indoor facility.
