If it goes like this, 73% of teams are already guaranteed a playoff spot before they even take the field for the '16 season. 69% of all teams in 4A-D2 would make the playoffs.

A complete farce. smdh

I don't understand why you would have a district with seven teams (6-4A II) right next to one with only five teams (5-4A II). In terms of having a chance to make the playoffs, this is unfair to the district with seven teams.

A solution would be to send either Pittsburg or Gilmer or even Gladewater west.

I don't know about this. One seven team district (6), and a lot of five team districts. It's fine with me, though.

Man hope it works out this way the last 2 years I have a Son playing. He will have 3 teams that I played my last year.

Yes I thought about that but there is a 5 team district in Region I that needs a Week 6 playing partner and the distances aren't too great..in my alignments I like to have dance partners reasonably close by if I'm going to do five team dstricts

The UIL would never take that into consideration...... Makes way to much sense!!!!

Like driving by two high schools in Region 3 ( both 10 miles from your school) to play a high school in Region 1 ( 40 miles form your school). It has happened.

There already is. We got to play Scarborough 2 years in a row. Well, after second thought, maybe that wasnt a reward:thinking:

Good news is if the predictions are correct, we wont ever see them again. I believe they are opting up to 4AD1(yeah, what in the world is HISD thinking).

Correct. Not many left. All that's worth going there for now is El Conquistador and the fried pie place in the gas station. Good Mexican food, and good fried pies. :thumbsup:

There's still a Sketchers shoe store for us old guys though..........I got a pair of GoRuns on clearance for $25 this past summer although I did have to wrestle CAM for them, stinking Bulldog jaws clamp down pretty hard, but I strapped his butt to a Rocket and sent him into orbit.........he might still be up there.............?????????

They have new baseball and softball complex which is very nice. Football field????? It hasn't changed.
