I think Somerset will go to Dist. 15, Burnet stays Dist 13, Liberty Hill stays 14, Austin Eastside to Dist 14 (replace Bandera) Taylor could swing either way. Wouldn't mind seeing Burnet in 14 - no long trips to Waco.

I think Andrews in District 1 is a possibility...I just didnt like the idea of a 4 team district....esp for scheduling purposes unless District 2 decided to do a round robin and play twice...

Navasota is on an island there's no good place to put them honestly

the thing about Alvarado to Big Spring is they have to do it once in 2 years...not too big of a deal...fairly easy trips for the rest of the games

Well I didn't analyze every one of them. Just took a quick look at proposed ET district. Kilgore, Carthage, Henderson, and TCH all have recent titles to go along with a much improved Center and Bullard.

Doubt that will happen. It's no more or less ridiculous than it was two years go. I'd be satisfied to see an explanation from the UIL. That would probably be pretty entertaining.

It's very simple...12 makes a better bi-district travel partner with 11 as does 13 with 14

True enough. It would take more than just flipping those two districts. Numbering adjustments for some of the other districts would be needed but it could certainly be done.

i would be fine if Alvarado ended up in reg 1..the projected district would suit me as well, but 4.5 hours just to beat the snot out of BS..ah h@%&, that would be fine too:evillol:!! the team Alvarado will have next season will do well regardless of where we end up.

Big Spring and Kerrville Tivy are 3.5 hours away from each other. They simply agreed to play in San Angelo the last two years.
Would BS and Alvarado coaches agree to meet at a neutral site for a district game?

Alvarado folks will show up no matter what, or where..i would imagine coach Dixon being open to an arrangement like that.. i know for a fact that our JH and sub-varsity teams had just as many, if not more butts in seats as the home teams in Brownwood and Stephenville last year.

I remember back about 1964 Burnet and Robinson met for region championship. That was as far as that classification advanced. I believe it was a 3 game series which went 3. Don't remember who won region. Both had very good teams and was very close and exciting games.

That is my projection.for some reason, the UIL likes to keep Springtown with the FTW schools..if they move anybody, it would be Alvarado..sometimes it doesnt make sense, but its the history..doesnt matter, the Indians will win a lot this season.

CAM is a notorious leg puller; reliance upon anything he says will lead you down the path to the Dark side and once you've discovered it's too late to turn back you'll hear him laughing in woods saying it all greendawg's fault.
