District Champs

I'm fairly new to the site and was looking at the district champs page. I must make a correction. Ferris did not win district 8 last year. The champ would be Alvarado, who defeated Ferris. Both teams had 1 district loss, but Alvarado is the riteful champ based on their victory over Ferris. I just couldn't let that go.

Technically, the 2 teams are declared co-champions if they have identical records. It is true that if a playoff berth or seeding were at stake that Alvarado would have gotten the advantage with the victory. But teams are declared co-champions if the records are the same, regardless of who beat who....so both the champs page and you are right.
