There's usually a few models posted by now or at least some chatter about it and we have nothing.

I don't know about districts but I have seen Stephenville's potential non-district lineup barring and of those teams end up in their district (unlikely).

4A D2 District 9 should definitely still have WOS, Orangefield, Hamshire-Fannett and Hardin-Jefferson. The question is will they move Liberty over towards the Houston area and bring Jasper down with us, add Jasper and keep Liberty for a 6 team district, or keep Liberty and move Jasper north.

Heck we are not sure which Region we will be in.

People haven't been as active in getting the numbers from some borderline schools, which is part of the reason. A lot of schools we don't know.

Liberty Eylau D1 or D2?? That could make some difference on where we go in district.

I say either way we need to add Jasper. Will make our district even better. Keep Liberty too if possible.

Last year the UIL released the rank order at the same time of the cutoff numbers and that made things a whole lot easier to predict. We have some numbers, but I have not seen a complete list.

Liberty-Eylau is D1. I look for the UIL to give us a reprieve and let us play teams closer to us this time around.

4A-D2 teams in East Texas: Gilmer, Pittsburg, Gladewater, Spring Hill, Tatum, Atlanta, Pleasant Grove, Rains, and Rusk. That's nine teams within a reasonable drive area, but the UIL likes six team districts. Who knows what the UIL will do, though? The last two years, with travel times and a weak district, absolutely hurt Gilmer's game revenue. I didn't see Jeff Traylor Stadium anywhere near capacity this past season, except for maybe the Liberty-Eylau game. Had a nice crowd for the Pine Tree game. Hopefully we won't have to go through that again.

Nope. The initial number thrown out there on these forums for them wasn't anywhere near what was actually turned in. There final number ended up being 721, which puts them in Division 1.

Never mind. That UIL alphabetical list says 2014, but it's got 2012 numbers... I do know Liberty-Eylau is D1, though.

Will be interesting to see his 4A projections, as I still haven't heard anything regarding a number turned in by Lyford. Lyford is like......a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in bacon and fried.

4A may take a while yet. The UIL is probably trying to fit Pampa in region four. LOL

For me the only North Texas question is where Bridgeport goes. They're kind of hanging out in no man's land. They can go with Graham, Vernon and Iowa Park or they can go east again.
