The mathematicians have already started. These could change given that the numbers are calculated by who you played and who each team you've played has played, etc. but I doubt they'll change much since there are only 3 games left to be played in the state tomorrow.

That's the current state ratings for all classifications. I'm not saying that I agree with this AT ALL given that there are so many teams that beat teams ranked above them and some are way too low for how they actually are in reality but it's interesting. I mean they have Canadian ranked ahead of all 4A schools and who knows, maybe they'd beat us all but I'm not so sure about that. Obviously the way their algorithm works is that the further you advance in the playoffs counts the most by far, then the better teams you play (and/or beat) and the better teams each of those teams has played (and/or beat) ad infinitum is figured in as well as the amount of points you win or lose by and the least number of games you lose counts quite a bit as well.

Here's the Top 50 4A combined for both divisions. 30 D1 teams and 20 D2 teams.

No Canadian would not beat any of the top 10 teams. The size difference physically would wear them down and team speed is so much different. Now I would have certainly liked to had the Canadian QB as backup for Celina yesterday. ;)

Canadian was the most impressive team I have seen this year. Now with that said they don't want none of the top 10 in 4a either division. But they were dang good for their classification.

Giddings ahead of Bellville and Navasota? Cuero at #29? Caldwell, Navarro, and La Grange ahead of Sinton? These guys are drunk! Maybe I am missing something...

Two things:

(1) Why does he keep posting stuff from this ridiculous site (and the AP). It's garbage.
(2) Why do I read it when he does ?

1. To show the idiocy of the old BCS computers. Max preps gets their numbers directly from the above site. They are the same entity.
2. That said, I'm still gonna look at them. Jerry Forrest who runs pigskin has a much better algorithm IMO. Should be interesting to see his numbers.
