Everyone on the map will be at NRG Stadium next week except for the two 6-man Champs Richland Springs and Abbott. Funny the two most extreme northern and southern teams Canadian and Refugio will be facing each other. That's quite a journey Canadian will be making.

Pretty cool map. Crazy thing is Canadian is closer to Denver and the Rocky Mountains than they are to NRG Stadium.

Not used to seeing East Texas so empty as well. Waskom and WOS are practically in Louisiana.

Canadian might have to travel through Oklahoma to get to Houston. :)

The best route shows to go through Texas. Only a little under 9 hours.

Canadian is 1000 miles from actual Canada and 800 miles from Brownsville

Canadian is 1000 miles from actual Canada and 800 miles from Brownsville...and Canadian is damn good. I suspect they will crush Refugio.

Canadian's travel distance to anywhere but Amarillo is crazy. Houston is far but for people who live in the panhandle and far west Texas, traveling a few hours to get to where they need to go is the norm. Lol

I've been saying this all season slingshot, Canadian is very good. I don't see anyone beating them.. Not even Refugio.

Great map 87! Here's another interesting observation. Notice that out of the 22 teams that made it to the championship game, including Richaland Springs and Abbott, that only 7 of them are more than an hours drive from I-35.

It's those I-35 fumes, acting like steroids! 220,000 cars a day.

Well that should bode well for Abbott and LaVega because you can hit I-35 from their stadiums with good punt. And I use the word "stadium" very loosely for Abbott. They do have an awesome crowd and an excellent sound system. It plays Wille songs during time outs and has the BEST concession made to order hamburgers anywhere.

I'm just glad there are no San Antonio area teams left.

Why is that?

I should have been more specific. I'm glad there are no San Antonio area 6A teams left.

I think Canadian has lost like 1 game in two years in football and basketball. Pretty impressive.
