I don't have a dog in either fight, but I'm scratching my head on this one because WOS will most likely blow out Cuero (not what the Mean Green folks would want to hear, but remember it's only my mad Rocket Scientist opinion).

I think Gilmer's lack of "ball security" reputation is now so well known statewide that all prognosticators expect another seven-turnover offensive performance in a little over 24 hours.

I have to admit that it's damned near a miracle they're still playing. But they only have to "get lucky" (aka being bailed out by the Black Flag defense) for two more games.

That QB for Westlake is very good...I think they have a chance and Allen is ripe for their first loss in a mighty long time.. DeSoto dang near did it. No AT&T Stadium for this one.

My sentiments too, TT......that's why I picked them this week. They run a two-quarterback system that may finally blow a gasket against this Westlake bunch.

Of course, I'm also that same guy that went out on a limb this week by picking Muenster AND Lovelady wins , haha.

Celina's defense is pretty dang good, too! They haven't had to save several games from defeat this year, but I believe they can and will if

If both defenses play to their expected levels, I will take

Doesn't have to be. But he's in a coaching situation that's eerily similar to his dynasty years at SLC. And say what you want about Dodge, but the man knows how to coach, and he knows how to breed really, really talented quarterbacks.

I expect Allen to win. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Westlake pull the upset.
