No offense, but I think the Giddings/Elgin/La Grange is much weaker than expected. Manor is stronger, though. I don't see any team going past second round.

I'd have to say, out of Region IV, districts 29 and 31 have been pretty weak. 31 though has some decent teams in it this year though.....Zapata and Orange Grove.

29 though has only 1 team with a winning record (Hondo), and potentially the 2nd place team will have .500 record, and 3rd place under .500

come on district 29-3A is the weakest 31-3A is doing good as far as stringth wise. we still have a little bit of trouble beating the 30-3A teams though.

Distict 29 last year played better than thought in the first round matchups with 30-3A. District 30 this year is down and anything can happen, although it looks like West Oso is really surging now. Dis. 31 this year is hard to figure. This district is usually one of the weakest though. Orange Grove playing a decent preseason helps them out for district and the playoffs.

In region 3 district 21-3A has to be the weakest.

3 or 4 avereage to good teams

4 or 5 horrible teams.

I THINK 21-AAA IS THE WEAKEST. I HAVE SEEN BRIDGE CITY, ANAHUAC, ORANGEFIELD, HARDIN-JEFF, AND HAMSHIRE-FANNETT, AND THERE IS NOT A GOOD TEAM AMONG THEM. I BELIEVE THERE ARE 4 OR 5 TEAMS IN 20-AAA THAT COULD WIN THAT DISTRICT.

In a few years when the freshaman this year mature in to varsity players, Bridge City will once again be on top of the district easily. They have to rebuild after losing the playmakers of the class of 2003. Not to mention more than a few quitting on them.

District 26 has two teams (La Vernia and Somerset) that are pretty decent teams. The other teams in the district would struggle in 1A.

Who hasnt won a gam in like 4 yrs. But lylte who knows what will happen or become of them, jourdanton was decent last year they just had no size they had a real good back though. poteet Hasnt been doing to bad this year i hopefully they will improve next year. Marion has been up and down for awhile since they went to the playoffs 2 yrs ago they would prolly do better in 2a though. But I think we will see some good things come out of marion soon enough dont count those guys out yet. but i do have to agree that it is a weak district. but they dont all belong in 1a Gurtrude!!!!

Region II, District 15 or 16, the Spring Hill district. With the exception of the Panthers, it's a pretty weak district THIS year. Gladewater (waaayyy down), Jefferson (middle of the road), White Oak (having a decent year this year), Sabine (doormat), and Pittsburg (doormat). Our district 11-3A is not far behind though.
