I think you meant prostate exam and not prostrate.....although, prostrate does mean lying face down, flat on the ground.....but the funny thing is that a person is not in the prostrate position when getting a prostate exam.....

This question is wrong Canary Islands are in the Atlantic, and answer is a myth they were named after a "Sea Dog" the Latin I believe was used which included Canis. a sea dog is a seal.

I was once was assigned (a very long time ago) the Canary Islands as location to research-in Texas History some of the founding families of San Antonio were from the Canary Islands.

Hey the assignment peaked an interest....would like to visit someday.

.....:spitlol:.......my best prostate story...and I'm only gonna tell it one more time!......circa 1988....Location: Texas Instruments lab........goofy lookin' 6'4" software engineer Tom Gargulak (we called him Lurch) was standing there tellin' 4 fellas about his doc appt that day that included a surprise prostate exam.....I was sittin' nearby so I couldn't help myself. I interrupted Tom and asked, "Hey Tom, how did you react the exact moment that finger went up your arse?"......Tom, without any hesitation, blurted out, "Well I started going like this!" (at the same time making a thrusting motion!).....caught us all off guard but the laughter soon ensued!!!.......and that's all I gots to say about that......
