I have to weigh in here on this game. While it is true that LH should be favored by a large margin, it should be noted that the Apaches may not be as bad as their 5-6 record might indicate. All 6 losses that the Apaches have endured this year, Giddings, Bellville, Navarro, Yoakum, Cuero and LaVernia, have been to teams that are still playing football in the playoffs. I suspect that 5 of them will probably advance to rd. 3 . The reason all 6 will not advance is because Yoakum and Navarro are playing each other. Apaches have some excellent athletes and I'm sure they are going to bring their best game.

I just found out that LH will be the home team!!

The reason I was concerned about who was home is that the visitors side of this stadium is extremely small. The home side is not that large either but its better than the visitor side. You would have to get there way early just to have a seat in the stadium.

And to that, why in the world are we playing this game here? I know that some other stadiums in the general area had games already in place but still, there has got to be a larger stadium than this. Heck, you can even make this a Saturday game!!

.....shouldn't be a problem....you just gotta get by La Vega University!....cause them boys look like a small college team!......but if their size don't scare ya....their speed will....nevertheless, I think they can still be had as Burnet almost proved...It was 22-7 until their trick plays and improvising did Burnet in...and that's a credit to LV and their speed demons........LV likes to run and that's it.....passing is weak but they simply don't have to.....they will get careless and put the ball on the ground....so best be ready to jump on their mistakes...otherwise, RF in for a long night......good luck.....

Yeah man, I got hooked on it one summer, we lived in a trailer house in the boonies (not much to do w/out a car - rode to work with my brother) and I watched it with my Mom and Sister. I worked in a restaurant, so I was home during the daytime. We only had one TV.

Of course I'm right, the Barneys win if they don't lose and move on the next round against La Vega who should also win if they don't lose (this might be a game worth traveling to Round Rock area to see).

I just looked up the stadium on Texas Bobs. You're right, that's a small stadium for a playoff game.
