Don't leave your defense at home this time ;). I'm going with Silsbee on this one.

Sealy shutdown Needville for the most part. Think Sealy's QB went down with a game ending injury in the first quarter. That's the impression they gave on the webcast

Silsbee can score. They put 28 points up on WOS and we've only allowed 9 points in the last six games. Their weakness is defense.

Correct 87. I think Silsbee can score 28 or more on anyone left in 4A DI. Problem is, most will score that many or more on Silsbee.

Silsbee is averaging 517 yards and 50 points per game so far this season but they are giving up 357 yards and 31 points per game. Over the last 5 games, Silsbee is averaging 540 yards and 59 points per game.

I think Silsbee outscores Sealy by a couple of touchdowns. Now next week if they face either El Campo or Kilgore, then that is where the Tiger defense will have to play better.

Thanks for the info.

Can anyone confirm the talk about Sealy suspending their QB and RB? Was posted on our site. Was just trying to confirm one way or the other if I needed to squash that talk.

I have not heard about the QB but did talk to a Sealy guru who confirmed that the RB (Christian Wallace) was suspended. He was not 100% for how long but was under the impression it was permanent. He brought a BB gun to school and apparently shot a kid with it. I am not sure if it was out of anger or more of like a play thing, but apparently the school took it very serious. Rightfully so with all the crazies these days. I would also assume this was not the first problem they have had with the kid if the suspension is permanent. It is a shame because he damn near had his pick of the litter when it came to where he wanted to play his college ball. Though I would not at all be surprised if some of them still took him...

It's my understanding that not only is the stud RB Wallace out due to suspension but the starting QB Eckhardt is out due to injury.

I liked Silsbee going into this game before I heard this news. Now it's a no brainer. Silsbee wins by at least 2-3 TD's.

With Sealy QB & RB out. Silsbee should win by 3 TD's
