Any thoughts or predictions on this game? What are the play-off implications?

Battle is for 3rd in 9-3A. Playoffs on the line, wish I could go. Should be a good-un. Can the PP defense stop Pottsboro's stud running back? Van Alstyne held him under 100 yards last week. Anybody know if he is healthy?

Must win game for both teams, the loser is out of the playoff race. If Pilot Point's defense plays like they have the last three weeks, and the offense can put 21 on the board, Pilot Point wins this one. Since the game is in Pilot Point and a win here not only helps the playoff hopes but will also tie Coach Moore with Coach Gordon Wood for the All Time Winningest Coach in Texas Highschool Football History, I am going to go with my boys. 31-7 Pilot Point wins this one Big.

Both teams played Celina tough, Pottsboro plays hard, PP has alot of heart and GA will put the gameplan together. If on a fast track...Have to take PP in this one by 14. If in the slop...PP by 7. eek! Never thought I would pick PP...lol

But next week...Keith will be telling us how the mighty Gainsville D will shut Cowley down and hold him to 30 yards. LOL

How many yards does Cowley have? Hes not very fast so hows he such a factor. I mean I've played a scrimmage aginst him and he runs hard but we held him to atleast 50 yards, if not less.

he has good speed prolly around 4.5.. and he is great at getting off tackles, that is probobly his biggest asset..

Thanks PPHSfan that did help, but Keith, I don't think that he runs a 4.5, maybe a 4.8. He does shed tacklers pretty well though.

Looks like the weather is going to be in Pilot Point's favor. Should slow down the scoring.

PP-14 - Potts 7

If not a 4.5 then not too far back.. I've seen him run track and played baseball against him.. hes really not as slow as you think
