After the ensuing kickoff, Lake Worth gets a first down and then punts it back to Argyle. The Eagles then score on 2nd down on a 74 yd. TD pass and run to Scott Smith. Smith made some nifty moves and picked up a few blocks downfield enroute to that long pass and run play.

After the ensuing kickoff, Lake Worth actually gets a good runback to the 45. Then they go 3 and out and punt it all the way down to the Argyle 5 yd line. On first down JC Chalk picks up 35 yds on a pass from Ledford. On the very next play Ledford drops a beautiful pass down the sideline on a Go pattern to Drew Estrada for a 60 yd TD pass and run. Argyle goes 95 yds in 2 pass plays.

Argyle played 60 kids last night. 4 JV's that were called up. I don't like this UIL format. Can you imagine being on a team like LW and having to play Argyle, Gilmer, Celina, or Navasota. I'll bet some of those kids go into the game saying "really, we have to play these guys?"

Same exact score as last year.....deja vu. Argyle recorded 590 total yds. to 93 for Lake Worth. Coach Rodgers pulled the starting offense with a little over 4 mins. left in the first half. The Eagles had 437 total yds by halftime.
