Never know. Our 4 seed beat district champ Gladewater. We might sweep them. I probably should have picked Bullard over Atlanta. That's going to happen I believe.

Gladewater was the second seed of that district and Canton was the third seed of ours. Center is the top seed of that district.

I don't know how many times I've heard the Gilmer coaches say that you need to be "balanced" on offense. As long as Gladewater has that coaching staff, they'll never achieve that nor do they even want to try. It's "run first, run always." Unless they get way behind and then they try to pass, realize they can't pass and then are screwed.

Now that I read about this game, I see that it was Canton who came from behind and not Gladewater who failed to do so, except there at the last. But it is still true that the Bears are probably not ever going to be a major perennial contender again (as they once were when EVERYONE ran the ball) unless they learn how to pass.

I'm all for as many kids as possible getting to play......in the playoffs or otherwise. Even the team that lost badly had kids that got to play another game.
