Turf field that is 3 or 4 yrs. old. Everything else is not very good. Giddings by 50 . Sweeny is weak. Maybe a all time low for them.

Buffs will take care of business this week. Can't wait, I am glad that Sweeney is better than playing some of the Scarborough or salado type teams. Those games are bad for the playoffs.

As fantasy football would say, questionable to doubtful for this week. Then day to day with a questionable tag.

How did Sweeny get their score? I know it was just after the Buffs scored their 1st TD, which tied the game.

What happened to Jones? And when? I hate to hear about this. Hopefully it's not too serious?

He came up from a pile a bit gimpy last week playing Caldwell, just before half. After half, he came out on crutches with no shoe or sock on his foot.

I really feel for him. It's his senior year and has been playing QB for 3 years that I can remember. And this being our best year so far, with a bevy of very talented teammates. Well, I'm sure he's wanting to be back out there too ASAP. Hopefully, we can win a couple more games and hope he gets back out there.

OTOH, our 2nd string QB is FAST, and can make plays on his own...

Did anyone see the game and give a sit rep on our 2nd string QB? Winning 35-7, I'm guessing he faired well.

2nd string quarterback looked good, just a few dropped snaps but no fumbles or interceptions. He threw for 2 touchdowns (the box score is wrong, the jv quarterback threw one of the touchdowns, the Grimm kid). Running game looked great and only 3 penalties (one a kickoff going out of bounds). Buffs had the jv quarterback and running back in action most of the 4th quarter.
