Where's g-dawg in all of this? He's the only one with a dog in this fight. Mine graduated last year. CAM's is playing baseball. I think I lost the photo's of G-dawg's office decorations from last year. If one of the lurking non posters has those, send them to me and I'll hang it up here.

Burnet has had a roller coaster year. At the beginning of the year, they were solid, then lots of injuries and had no real depth. Defensively they have struggled. But they hung with La Vega and should have beat them. LH has had it own issues and injuries. Because this is a rivalry game, the biggest these two teams have, all bets are off on one team dominating. The emotions will be running high and the team that can turn that emotion into something positive on the field will take it. I'm thinking LH wins, but by a TD or less. This week the season starts over, so records are out the door. Burnet has had a tough district schedule, while LH not so much, but our pre district schedule will rival anybody's in 4A. I'm just hoping the intensity the kids had during those first five weeks is still there and they can bring it for this Friday.

Damn if I know how it will end up but it will be a fun week for parents and the teams .

The city folk are used to those quiet 5A-6A games from the big schools. They have never had noise like this coming from the stadium. I suspect We will also pack Gupton and give the surrounding neighborhood something to remember.....

I wish I could, but I'm going to the Midway game up here......kinda got roped into it, there's a young lady that dances with my daughter at the dance studio who is on the Midway Drill Team and my wife & daughter want to go so they can watch her perform at half time. I think Midway is playing some school from Garland, but per the predictions Midway should win easily, hence a boring game.
