Eh, I remember an unbelievably talented Sinton team that should have cake walked the district ... they ended up not being all that great and even we dinkers beat 'em (shut 'em out actually). I wouldn't be too surprised if this game didn't go as planned for Sinton.

with the exception of last season most of the wins went to the underdog team going into the game. Don't see it happening it should be pretty much like last year game except Sinton 1st string defense is stingy in letting the other team punch it in the end zone.

Sinton's Rob Knox having a great sr year on defense and hopefully gets some opportunities on offense also been used just on defense so far. He missed last season playoff run.

The zero touchdowns against Cuero was with their third string quarterback and a freshman running back. I would hope a state ranked defense would have a shut out in those circumstances.

You got to give Sinton credit for having a great defense. I saw that in person and you earn every yard. No easy scores. After Cuero got there 5 starters back on defense right before dist the caliber of defense they are. Playing is very good. The other team I thought was in Sinton league on defense was East Bernard. Would not be surprised if Cuero and Sinton meet again in QF. Cuero would have to have a great game against Navaro but the schudule Cuero has played has been very tough and lots stronger than Navaro schedule. We see if that makes a difference. It Yoakum gets past Rio Hondo I think Navarro would be too much for Them but that why they play game on field. No doubt. Navarro the real deal and will be the favorite in R-4 .

I do think our boys need to be very careful not to take the Mustangs lightly. They always play up when they play us. They have nothing to lose, and we have sole possession of the district title to lose. Who the heck wants to share it? They would LOVE to take us down a notch.

It was that very team .... picked to go to the playoffs .... bobby trujillo, kris lamb, craig jones, rick dyer, green ..... etc etc etc. That was one of the most talented group of guys. I also remember quite a few "issues" off the field and some other things that somehow managed to derail them.
