Just got word that Celina's Senior Night has been moved from Friday to Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium. This is in preparation for the poor forecast on Friday.

Way too early to talk Sweetwater vs. Celina but if things go as projected then Aubrey will be our
second round opponent after they beat Godley by 14.

On a side note: They have every single team in Districts 1 and 4 losing in the first round leaving
four District 2 teams to play four District 3 teams in the second.

I could see that. Although, I'm sure at least one District 1 team will sneak into the second round. Aubrey looks to be somewhat improved, but I can't imagine they'll give you guys much trouble in that second round matchup. All signs are pointing to a Bobcats/Mustangs rematch.

By the way, I wasn't able to be at that game last season ... where was it played? I'm having a hard time remembering.

Makes sense, I suppose. There really isn't much that's truly in the middle for both teams. Shotwell comes to mind, but that's a bit closer to the Mustangs. Weatherford is another, but that's closer to Celina. I wonder if they'll play in WF again this year, if we do indeed get a rematch.

Mineral Wells is a great place to play and pretty even driving for both teams.

Haha is it? I've missed out on the few games Celina has played there. I always enjoyed the games at Shotwell, even that 2007 semifinal game against Snyder that turned pretty frigid at kickoff. Once that northern Abilene wind started whipping through the stadium, it quickly became one of the coldest games I've attended over the years.

2 hour drive from Celina and a 2 hour and 16 minute drive from Sweetwater.

From Celina to WF is 2 hours and 7 minute. From Sweetwater to WF is 2 hours and 34 minutes. Sounds like Mineral Well would be great!!!

I'll bite. If we play Navarro, the UIL mandates that the game will be played at NRG Stadium.
