This is what I dislike about 4A football. In 6A there will never be a team that it is favored by 61 against its district opponent. Just doesn't happen. At least there is a chance every week, that you get beat in the larger classifications. No disrespect to Pinkston as I know they work just as hard as others but they may be the worst team in not only 4A, but maybe also 3A, and Argyle plays them in district. It does neither program any good.

Bonham would give them and WF Hirschi a run for their money. But you're right, Aguila, nobody benefits from these games. That said, I don't know the remedy for this problem. This is just one of those weeks where you let the starters get a few series of work in, get a lead and just get the heck out of there healthy with a win.

Carter beat Pinkston 39-0 & Argyle could have hung 100 on Carter Friday night.....seriously. It was 49-0 at half and Carter had a total of -16 yards. The 2's, 3's and JV played the entire second half. I can only imagine what it will be like on Thursday night. No Fun.

in defense of DHJ, getting enough kids to participate in football is a major feat! and some how coach Abernathy does it..i believe DHJ perenial top 15 in soccer every year though.
