Looks like Wimberley has gained much confidence in the last three weeks and are looking very good! Navarro is coming off a bye week and can the defense keep up the pace. Nobody has over 200 yds offense and Gonzales posted 2 tds on offense! Can the offense keep the scoring pace ? We shall see and I am really looking forward to this game as I know Wimberley will be a tough test!

Either this is playful banter or you are stuck in the past. Give me Navarro 49-14

After looking at the matchup more carefully, I now realize that I was a bit over-exuberant in my initial prediction.

Wimberley is winning district games by an average of 39-4. But Navarro is an above average team.

So I'll go with Wimberley 35, Navarro 10.

Obviously we have not been a typical Texan team this year. After the attrition at QB slowed down, our current guy struggled early but has come a long way. It appears the skill players have stepped it up and the OL is starting to gel. I believe this will be a much closer game than most think.

No contest really. Navarro by 21+ in this one. But a good run by Wimberley in the middle of their season against key opponents. Navarro will prove they belong.

I could possibly go as low as 31-10.

But we'll have our hometown refs, so there is no way we're winning by less than that. If you can't comprehend that, you need to talk to the Liberty Hill fans. They'll educate you.

Hometown refs? Thats a pretty sorry thing to rely on... Navarro's average district win is much more lopsided than wimberley's, and Aside from that last years Navarro team full of sophomores and juniors handled Wimberley very soundly. I assume this years team with the same players that have even more experience will do the same.

Yep, Tio White Hat will get you every time in Texan Stadium.....

Wimberley Coaches do know how to prepare for the Slot-T, but I have to go with the Panthers in this one, they run their Offense the way God intended.... ;)

Navarro is a lickin them chops..that is for sure and with good reason. Texans 3-6. Yep..no problem, no contest for the Panthers.. Just another stepping stone. Heck even Wimberley folk are picking Navarro. Lord have mercy.

No problem Tejas I may as well. Funny how winning drags out the yappers who have been laying up under the porch! I know Navarro is looking forward to Friday night! Don't worry at all because the Panthers will be there!

How many Texas State Football Championships have been won running the slot-t in the last 5 years. I really don't know, do you have that info?

Two that I am aware of. Ennis last year, and East Bernard about 2 or 3 years ago. Liberty Hill a little while longer ago. And each and everyone one of those teams, along with Navarro, Weslaco, and any other team in the state of Texas running the Slot-T has my respect.

Navarro isn't the typical slot-t team anymore, they definitely have put their own flair on the offense.

lol I was just thinking of that also but right now i'm thinking of heading south to PI/OG game.

FWIW Navarro is a 32 point favorite. So, unless you're just going to see if Navarro is the real deal, I'd stay home or in SFIA's case
check out PI/OG. Sinton is projected to play PI in the first round and OG in the third.

Wow..the point spread has dropped a whole 7 points. Same poll that had us by 9 over Hondo last game.

Looks like Navarro might escape a savage beating thanks to Mother Nature!

Great Kid and it was a non contact. He was also injured in the Cuero playoff game last year but it was his other knee. Just part of the game but he will be fine. He is walking around w/o crutches. We will be fine as we have lots of experience. Thanks for the thoughts and concern!
