Hope to see y'all hang 70 on them like Brownwood did. They had too many personal fouls in our game for me to like them. And frankly I like Alvarado, when they're not playing Brownwood at least.

Our defense is getting good, and playing aggressive..which means turnovers..if that's the case, their Defense will be slouching with hands on hips..cause the stampede will be on!! LoL!!

You're right..the Indians style of play will set off their acts of frustration as we knock down another 1st down..sooner, rather than later, they'll be too tired for that nonsense..either way, the Indians will maintain their composure and TCB(Elvis would be proud)

I have little to no respect for teams that play dirty. I root against Iowa Park and Springtown every week for that reason.

There is a difference between a facemask and trying to intentionally hurt someone. All of Springtown's PFs were cheap. Including one that could've broke the kids neck.

Plus Stephenville plays dirty as well. Just not as bad. Slightly below the ankle twisters of Snyder.

I'm not saying that the lions are perfect. But they don't try to hurt people, and the two teams I listed did. There is frustration, then there is those teams who take losing to a whole new level

Off topic, but have you seen that documentry about him jumping over the Devils River. He was shot out of a cannon....he thought he was going to die beforehand.....but he couldn't back out and the promoter had armed men there to sure it was going to happen because it was on national TV. Back then, there were only about 3 or 4 stations, so it was a big big deal.

Worst offiating from start to finish I have witnessed in a long time..one time it took 8 plays to get 1st down..4 of the 8 were 1st down gains!! Springtown would actually be a good team if their coaches spent more time coaching, and less time crying on the ref's shoulders!! It almost looked like a controlled scrimmage with the POJO coaches standing at the numbers most of the game.. I'll ha e to look at the official stats, but I'm guessing the penalty ratio was 27 to 3!! It seemed every time we got a 1st down, or a TD there was mustard on the lettuce..pitiful!!
game felt weird without bands in the stands and no cheerleaders..oh well.. got the W, despite the BS endured..

At least y'all made it out.thats a big 10-4!! the Springtown "players" scratched and clawed their way back into the game and never quit..that aspect of the game was exciting..all in all, happy with the win.
