Will go with the Ricebirds at home even with Stafford's defense which I believe that won't stop Kevin Dove from the endzone

Hard to comprehend stafford being 6-0 having actually played a pretty decent schedule.

That said, i just cannot get over the fact they're still Stafford. EC by 7

This game will be a challenge.
I still think The Birds have some work to do to really get it together with the head coaching change.
Stafford beat St Pius X last week 13- 10 The Bird were leading the same team 10-7 in the 4th and the the bottom fell out on them and they gave up 35 4th quarter points and was shocked at that. Dont think that would have heppened with Gillis at the helm.
This is a game the Birds need to win for Condra. And so the Bird can get the swagger back I havent seem year this year.
Of coure any coach would be hard pressed when replacing a coach like Coach Gillis

Staffords D has been great. The ElCampo offensive line seems to be coming together. The Ricebirds make a statement at home 34 - 17

I'd bet money (if I had some) that you have more middle names than he has Ks.

I see this as the district championship and a lot of you are sleep on Stafford. This is not the old Stafford by far so get that out of your heads. But by far these are the best two teams in the district. I can say that from seeing both these teams play this year and West Columbia. My opinion.

Amazing

Not really. El Campo is not very good.

I don't think anybody in the district is. Will be quick outs after the first round.

The best players on the team being poor examples for the rest of the players doesn't help.

Agreed, this district is not going to do well in the playoffs.

Stafford might be able to win a playoff game or 2 if they get a decent matchup

There's very little separation between El Campo and Stafford. It was an evenly matched(but extremely boring) game.

The top 3 teams will likely win their 1st round matchup against that crap(sans Navasota) Houston district. It's doubtful any of them advance past the 2nd round.

After listening to this game on the web-announcers kept questioning officials calls and non calls. Was this really the case?

There were several questionable calls that arguabky affected the outcome.

But, Bob Nason always thinks El Campo gets screwed by the officials.

Rond 2 will likely be games between D9 and D12 Those look like toss ups.Won't matter because Navasota will take the region anyway.
