Sound great to me, I am sure all of these folks are worthy. It's kind of tragic that so many top 3A players were snubbed in Texas' politically controlled AP poll-glad someone recognized Jorrie's qualifications..

No, I doubt that. At least for Jorrie, this shines the bright light of day on the AP "vote". When you are pulling in national honors right and left, who needs the Texas AP recognition anyway. Well, I am happy for Jorrie, and happy that 3a might be getting a little extra attention because of him.

Again, he will be playing on Jan 5th at the Alamodome in San Antonio at 6:00 p.m. in the Army national all-star game. I think the game will be carried on cable TV nationally, perhaps it is ESPN2.

For any 3A player to get national recognition is quite a feat! Go Jorrie! :cool:
