This should be interesting. Robinson was winless until beating Lampasas 21-14 to open District play. Burnet is coming off a 42-20 loss to China Spring.
Robinson has scored a bunch of points but does not seem to know how to keep the other team from scoring.
Burnet is a better football team than Lampasas.
This spells trouble for Rocket Man.
CAM will have a mucho mejor Viernes than last week.

Hey Dude, the boys know how to stop the other team from scoring, it's just when you ain't got enough rocks in your pockets to match up, you ain't got enough rocks.

Well Rocket Man , we share the same issues . We have to play D or we can't beat anybody . Our O line better step up also or it will be a short season . I think this one is closer than most think , it has turned into somewhat of a rivalry game . I think we win but not by much .

Well CAM & greendawg today's the day, God willing I'll be down there for it; unfortunately not early enough to grab a bite and teach CAM how to play paper football. But I did find out that Storms is open unitl midnight, so we will be getting some burgers after the game.
Enjoyed watching the Freshman/JV games last night; gives some hope for the future.
It would be great if it ended up as exciting as the playoff game last year, but being real I just hope there are no injuries on either side.

......yup.....but I'm most proud of the microwave circuit / coffee can / chicken wire mesh antenna we made back in the 80's.....it was specifically used to pickup the signal from a porn channel that was created by some wacko dude in Dallas.....he would transmit microwave signals of the raunchiest flicks you could imagine and charge folks money to set you up......well, the perves that worked at Texas Instruments wanted in but for free.....we figured out his circuit board design and duplicated it......next thing ya know...everybody at TI was bringin' their empty Folgers coffee cans to work to get in on it!!!!!:spitlol:.......of course, I only helped in the design.....I never built one for myself!......that porn stuff bores me to be honest:smoker::smoker:........anyways, this guy finally got his operation shut down.....so somewhere all over Dallas there are homes whose attics have these coffee can antennas still hangin' from the rafters!!!.......A VERY TRUE STORY......anybody in Dallas remember this???......sure you don't!!!!!......

Fortunately, I won't be driving this time, we be coming in a big ol' Ecoline Van.
Levonte Owens is playing at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens and doing quite well, he has 6 touchdowns in 4 games and is averaging about 5.7 yd/carry
Davila moved to Midway.........supposedly he is on the football team, but we did not see him when we went to watch them play during the bye week, but he was listed on the roster.

Finally made it home, ahhhh it's good to be back in Rocket Land. Them Storms burgers after the game sure were good.
